Safe+Well™ is a service run by NRS Healthcare and supported by Torbay County Council. Safe+Well™ is designed to help people who want or need to buy their own daily living aids. We can help you understand what daily living aids can help you and where you can go to buy them.

We also work with charities in Torbay. We can help to train their volunteers so they can give advice and information about daily living aids. We can also use their buildings as a base to demonstrate daily living aids to you.

We offer free Home Safety Checks. The check takes no longer than five minutes after which you may be offered a home safety visit.

The visit takes less than 30 minutes, we provide advice and fit a free smoke detector if required.

There are more than 16,000 people across Torbay who support a friend or relative. They may be helping with shopping or meals, attending appointments with them, or just making sure that they are alright. They may be an older couple who do things for each other, a parent carer or young carer. They may not see themselves as a ‘carer’ or know about the support available to them, but Torbay Carers Service is here to help, with all sorts of information, advice and support.
