The benefit of a home visit is that the Occupational Therapist can spend at least an hour with you in your child’s home talking through your child’s abilities with you, discussing the things you might be finding more difficult and observing the difficulty first hand. This helps them identify exactly the right solution for you, your family and your home.

What will the visit cover?

The OT will look at not only the small things your child may be struggling with but can also recommend changes to your home such as widening doorways, ramped access or a stair lift. See further details here.

How much will it cost?

The OT visit will cost £165 - this includes the hour visit and a follow up report and phone call. For an additional charge they can also continue to support you with any larger adaptations.
